As for me: I will dwell in the House of God forever. (Psa. 23:6) Forever.

Bridge between east and west in Austin
Here's the caption to this picture in today's Austin American-Statesman:
"The 17th Annual MLK Community March, celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, started at the UT-Austin campus and ended at Huston-Tillotson University. Participants cross the newly dedicated J.J. Seabrook Bridge, over Interstate 35 on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd."
I find this picture quite meaningful with the banner indicating "Live the Dream". In my dream concerning this bridge, the Lord said, "I will bring east and west together!" as He put His foot down at this location. In the city of Austin the north/south interstate highway has been a line of demarcation between ethnic groups and financial resources. We will see light break out as the Body of Christ moves forward into something the world cannot accomplish without God's Spirit and Jesus' leadership.
Its imperative to state here that there can be no true reconciliation without Jesus Christ: both receiving personal and corporate forgiveness for our sin from God as well as the power to enter into His life and kingdom where there is truly peace and love between God and man (and thereby potentially between men). Without Jesus' example and His words (which are spirit and they are life) man can only presume to build upon his own goodness. Which is at best shallow and fleeting, like shifting sand.
In Daniel chapter 2, when he lived in Babylon the prophet Daniel interpreted a pagan king's dream, the king seeing this:
"Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth." (2:35)
In his interpretation, Daniel points to the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that would follow him several centuries later. He states it simply, that in contrast to the rise and fall of other kingdoms in world history, one was coming and the Great King of all creation would become the reference point for all of history and every human being:
"And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." (2:44)
Its time for the Body of Christ to be more effectively reconciled and do great exploits. God is intent upon demonstrating the beauty and strength of His Church, and to advance the gospel of the Son of His love with power to change people and cause them to love righteousness. Night and day worship and prayer will be the catalyst for this, as the people of God take more seriously the need we have as His people to love God first and to love Him most.
For with You is the fountain of life; in Your Light we see light. - Psalm 36:9

J.J. Seabrook bridge dedication in Austin, TX
Today is a signature day in the spiritual history of Austin, Texas.
The J.J. Seabrook bridge is being dedicated during the city's Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration, a point forward from which things will happen within the city across racial lines in unprecedented ways. Here is a video my friend Thomas Cogdell has produced with some of the backstory leading up to today:
