A prayer from Virginia

Thoughts from this morning:

O that Christ would use my life

    to write upon, and through,

    a love story
which tell of a gracious life.

Having known verses wherein I
    took pleasure in listening,
    in following.
Learning of His meekness.
And, beyond this,
    when Love teaches me to
    bend with the Remover to remove.
For the time comes to stand,
    to speak of boundaries;
    to forbid that which is shallow,
    or hollow...
what is not whole and leads to death.

This is a grace-filled life
    which can prove
    a Creator redeeming,
    a Savior speaking,
a life increasing in His beauty

forever.
