November traction

In November we'll have a busy weekend schedule going on.  The first weekend, we're having Jake Ferrell, regional OneThing coordinator from Kansas City IHOP speaking at our EGS Friday evening and then at Hope Community Church on Sunday morning.  The following weekend is LHOP's Ascent conference, where guests will include Matt Lockett from Bound4Life and worship leader Ryan Kondo from IHOP-KC.  The next weekend is the regional OneThing event down in Raleigh, NC.  Between then and now the world will have changed significantly, of that I have no doubt.  So lets stay steady in prayer and pursue the Lord in all things.  Yes and amen.  Yes, and amen.

Walking the halls of Livingstone

I know I haven't blogged in a blue moon.  Its been very similar to how I've carried myself in our first weeks in Newport News around the monastery.  Lots of walking around, sitting in on meetings, absorbing.  Listening, both to God's Spirit as well as people in this community.  (Also met some new friends to talk about possible work.)  I've been most impressed with the grace present and leading.  The Lord is zealous to build night and day prayer in Newport News... He is working.

So if my food is to do Your will, then I'm hungry.  (John 4:34)
