Astonishing: Isa. 56:1-8

Been getting laser blasts lately from Isaiah chapter 56.  In the sense that fiery blasts have been coming... like hot, burning coals in my spirit.  Our transition continues (for those following our journey) but its wisdom to not process too much online as things are still so fluid and under definition.  I had a remarkable dream last Friday night that is simply profound, and helpful in its assurance that God will have His way as we stay watchful and in prayer.  "Prepare!  Prepare!  Prepare!" for the responsibilities ahead I am told.  There are houses of prayer to be built up or dedicated.  There are cities to be reached before Christ returns. And who is capable of such wonders?  I know only One.

In reading the opening verses of Isaiah 56 lately its having the effect of making me wonder if I've EVER read this scripture... if I've ever heard preached what is jumping out at me now.  I see it now as such a powerful assurance for those living a life of sincere devotion to God.  There is a way forward, to everyone: natural Israel, gentiles, full-time and otherwise in ministry.  Its stated here for those who join themselves to the Lord... rich and remarkable promises and God's definition of both the "eunuch" and the sons of the foreigner.  A place within God's walls and God's house, and a name "better than that of sons and daughters".

Jesus, speak Lord.
